Luya Counseling is currently in-network with:​

• Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield
• Avera Health Plans
• Sanford Health Plans

If you plan to use insurance, your session rate is determined by your individual insurance plan. Coverage, copays, deductibles, and coinsurance vary by policy. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your mental health benefits before your first appointment.

You will receive a monthly invoice for any copay, deductible, or coinsurance amounts owed.

Private Pay​

Private pay is available for clients seeking psychotherapy, consultation, or wellness services.

Choosing private pay:
• May offer greater flexibility and privacy
• Does not always require a medical diagnosis
• Allows us to focus fully on your goals rather than insurance limitations

Please reach out for current session rates.  Monthly invoices are provided for services rendered.

Out-of-Network Benefits​

If Luya Counseling is not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be eligible for reimbursement.

Upon request, a superbill can be provided for you to submit directly to your insurance company. Reimbursement rates vary by plan, so we encourage you to contact your provider to confirm your out-of-network benefits.
